An exceptional place for a much anticipated vehicle from the Renault range...the Laguna Coupé was revealed here yesterday on the Monaco circuit.
Lucas Di Grassi and Romain Grosjean were the men charged with driving the Laguna Coupé for the first time. They were rather taken with the look and feel of this new car from Renault as they sampled it on the streets of the Principality. They delighted the VIPs and journalists that were invited to the occasion.
They completed laps for nearly and hour and did not seem to want to stop...they will for sure try and get a Laguna Coupé as one of their cars but they will have to be patient because it will not be on the market until October.
After this demonstration, it was onto the terrace at the Casino where Flavio Briatore and Nelson Piquet revealed the new car during a drinks reception and gala... The general feeling during the evening was that the Laguna Coupé is a stunning car with aggressive looks and a beautiful sounding engine note.
Below you will find some photos of the revelation on the circuit...

Lovely, lovely car. Too bad I can't afford it. I really don't understand current car prices - a car can cost as much as some decent appartment. I'd rather go with buying property. But great effort from Renault designers. New Laguna looks fantastic in all shapes.

Oh, my, I've been following the Laguna Coupe Concept news and now such a pleasant surprise - the "final" is revealed and it is gorgeous! It's 'bout time Renault licked some German a**!!! Is the 3.5 V6 petrol the one found in Nissan 350Z? If so I think it will be great if it allows some tuning from the 240HP of this Coupe up to the 350Z power levels! I WANT THIS CAR! Can you imagine its handling with the 4-wheel steering ssystem!
