You can modify your personal information by using the "Edit my profile link" (located to the top left of the "My Profile" section.)

The orange colour is allocated to RF1 Paddock Pass, who is your privileged point of contact with the team and who keeps you up to date with the latest news. |

The moderators are there to support RF1 Paddock Pass in the task of moderating the site, but also for helping you to understand the site and how it works.
|
|
|
|
An avatar is the visual representation of you profile. It will appear in the member directory and in friend lists etc…It is you visual identity on the fan site.
|
|
|
|
Changes to your avatar can be made by using the “Edit my profile" button on your profile page.
|
|
|
|
We only accept avatars that conform with the rules of the site, as follows:

|
|
To add a friend you have to select the “Add to Friends” button available on a member's profile page or directly from the icon at the bottom of the avatar.
|
|
|
|

|
The “disputed content" function allows the webmaster to go back and remove inappropriate content left by a member which go against the rules of the site.
|
|
|
|
The "blacklist" function allows you to block requests or messages from a member who you do not wish to be contacted by.
|
|
|
|
You can blacklist a member by selecting the “Blacklist” button from the member's profile page.
|
|
|
|
On the "My friends" page you will find a "Top friends" section. You can place your friends in the top friends area at the bottom of the page. You can change the order of your top friends by moving the avatars to the right or left.
|
|
|
|
There is a section at the bottom of the blog which says “Add a comment”. Write your comment in the space provided, have a preview of how your text will appear, and then press OK.
|
|
|
|
A section called "Submit a blog" is available on the home page of the site.
|
|
|
|
All blogs submitted by members are subject to approval. We allow blogs that correspond with the team's recent events and the editorial line of the site. In addition, the usual rules need to be respected in order for your blog to be published.
|
|
|
|
You will find an area for uploading to the right of the "Photo Album" section.
|
|
|
|
We will give preference to recent photos showing the car and team members in ING Renault F1 Team colours (out of respect for our principle partner). The photos must also respect copyright rules in order to be posted on our site.
|
|
|
|
The photos that receive the most votes each month will be placed in the “Top Photos” section - but only 1 vote per photo and per day. The meters return to zero at the start of each month, so it could soon be your photo at the top of the charts.
|
|
|
|
In the "Podcast" section there is an area to upload your MP3. We suggest that you give your MP3 a title and some key words so that it can be referenced in our community site.
|
|
|
|
MP3s with poor sound quality will be refused. Also try and avoid submitting MP3s that are already in this section. You must be the owner of the file to be able to upload it.
|
|
|
|
Top Members are those who have been frequently added as a friend and who are often ranked by their friends as top friends.
|
|
|
|
There are 2 ways to move up the order of Top Members:
1) If you have a lot of friends 2) Your friends vote for you (from your profile page). |

You can send an email to the webmaster for the site: webmaitre-rf1@renaultf1.com or write a message from the 'contact' link (to the right of the FAQ section). Your email will then be dealt with as quickly as possible.
|

|
|
You will be informed in the "messages" section whether your submission has been approved (MP3, photo, blogs, avatar). Equally, a notification will be sent if a member has accepted your friend invitation.
|
|
|
|
You can only send a message to one of your friends. The "send a message" link is available from the profile page of your friends or directly underneath their avatar.
|
|
|
|
You will see a section called "My email notfications" in the "My messages" page. From this area you can select the information that you wish to receive by email. There are three kinds of email notifications:
- Friend invitation received - New message received - Notification after approval or disapproval of your submission (photo, blog, MP3, avatar) |

From the "Edit my profile" page you can subscribe to the distribution list for the 4 newsletters of the team.
|
|
|
|
There are 4 newsletters available, as follows:
The Thursday Newsletter sent on a weekly basis, which keeps you up-to-speed with the news on your favourite team. A Alert Event Newsletter that informs you of the new features on the Team and Fan site. A Store Newsletter that brings you the latest promotional offers from the official ING Renault F1 Team store. The Race Control Newsletter, which keeps you up to date with the results and classification after each Grand Prix. |
